Anywhere in New England (vt, nh, ct, me, ma, maybe ny), budget of $2000, needs to be able to plow right away, but I want to beat it in the summer to the beach and back, maybe in the woods too to grab firewood. For plowing a 450 ft driveway. I was looking at this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but the chances that 2.8 is going to last are likely nil, and the plow setup looks janky as hell. If it is pre 1990 I don't need an inspection sticker, so it could be an old rotten RamCharger or Blazer. Go forth Oppo, best plow truck for 2 grand with a plow on it, or say $1200 without one (I can get a beater plow setup for 750 or so)

I know there's a bunch of Chevy trucks with plows near me. Prices I haven't paid attention to because I don't need a plow.

Good luck. You're probably going to need it as everyone is most likely looking for the same thing. I'll take a gander around craigslist and see what I can find.
On a personal note, I always wanted to find a bobcat for plowing duties. They look like a load of fun.

I liked my wheel horse with a blower on it for doing the in town driveway. I would love a bobcat but probably too expensive!

I've cleared a longer driveway than that with a Terramite T5, but I don't recommend it. Hands get FUCK YOU level cold.

how many vehicles do you have?? I feel like you are always posting about some sub-$5000 hooptie you've got your eye on. Anyway, some options:
1989 Dodge Dakota 5spd w/ new clutch and plow - $2100
1993 Ranger w/ plow (5spd but needs new front hubs) - $2700

haha I just commented on another reply. Dont know much about the T5, but I did have a wheel horse I would do the driveway in town with. Way not big enough to do a 450 foot drive with a single stage blower

This was something like 6-10" deep in snow, cleared with the bucket. Less fun than it sounds.

Currently I am sitting on the money I made selling 2 alfas and 2 peugeots last fall, so I am getting itchy to spend it on something fun. This is a necessity though for my dad's retirement house. Oh man good finds!

damn, yeah need a cab to do that. I had a good size Kubota on loan one winter with an 8ft bucket and a heated cab. That didnt suck!

my dad loves jeeps. If I got him that he would lose his mind with joy.
And yeah, time for the weird foreign stuff to go away, to be replaced with something equally as weird but less labor intensive. I sold my 504 diesel wagon too

I'd steer clear of small trucks with plows. They don't push the wet stuff very well and the lack of inertia is really hard on them, structurally.
